LJ Layouts

New LJ Layouts are placed at the top of the last page.

Downloading: To download the layout you want then click the download link below it - a new window will appear with CSS/text - highlight it all (CTRL/Command + A) and then copy it (CTRL/Command + C) and paste it into your cusom CSS area.

Instructions

Note: Plus accounts will not look exactly the same due to ads.

1. Login to your LJ account - go to the page Choose Journal Style - under ‘Select a New Theme’ type Flexible Squares in the search box and apply/select any one of those themes. If you’re asked to ‘Save Chages’ - do so.
2. On the same page, scroll to the bottom and change the Page Setup so it matches the layout you want (so, if you want one without a sidebar, select the no sidebar one etc) and then click ‘Customize Selected Theme’, it’s at the bottom right hand corner.
3. Go to your Custom CSS area and change the drop down menu’s to ‘Yes’, ‘No’, ‘No’. And then paste the code you copied into the box below. Save Changes
4. Make sure you have your user pic activated. (Customize Your Theme -> Display - scroll down until you see:- Show user picture icons with each of your entries? - select ‘yes’ and change the option below to left - (’set the user picture position for each entry’) - Save Changes after this.
