Past Design Layouts

Below you’ll find our past layout designs. This page only goes back to 22/06/07 - anything previous to that is missing along with one other recent look.

Blossom

Infomation:

I (Olivia) added this layout on the 1st of May 2007. I used Photoshop CS2 to create it and then coded it.
This layout was inspired by Steph a good Friend of mine… I searched Stock Xpert and found some pretty stunning images which I then put together and it turned out like this!

Blossom Take Two

Infomation:
I (Olivia) added & coded this layout on the 1st of May 2007 - it was actually created by Faye @ Starlight. I started a competition on Splash Message board… the winner of it got to have their layout up on letters to you. I just adored Faye’s image, so it was a win, win both ways!

The images that she used I bought from Stock Xpert.

Tree upon a hill

Infomation:
Once again I (Olivia) got inspired by a Theme on Splash Message board - It was the Theme I was using for a long time and every-time I went onto Splash I just wanted to copy it - I never managed to do it but I was very pleased with how it turned out.

I found the image for this on Stock Xchng I then used Photoshop CS2 to add the effects & text… and then once it was all finished I added it on the 1st of May 2007.

Olivia

Infomation:

This Layout is very much more personal… the three main Pictures in it were taken by My Father while I (Olivia) was out Shooting. I wasn’t expecting him to take any sort of decent Photographs of me so I was rather surprised they were good!
I was fiddling around in Photoshop one afternoon when I had nothing to do, I ended up putting the three images into one blend & I showed my Mother who thought it was stunning and told me I should add it on Letters To You as a layout.
I’m quite pleased with how it turned out… the coding is (I feel) nice and it adds a nice touch to it. Plus I just love how it’s more personal & not of some celebrity.

Whatever Floats your Boat

Infomation:
For a while I (Olivia) had wanted to give the Skins ‘layout’ a revamp. Give it something new and different…
One morning I just had an idea for it and I drew it with a pencil and some paper, it turned out almost exactly how I imagined it. I’m really pleased with how things changed and how it’s easier to Navigate & much more simple. The layout was added on the 22nd of June, 2007. Olivia made it using Adobe Photoshop CS2. It was taken down on the 11th of August, 2007.

A beautiful Summer

Infomation:

I myself (Rosanna) love this layout, the pictures that Olivia took are stunning and so are the colours! I also loved the CSS, which Olivia did… I just love how everything turned out, it all looks great.. in my opinion. The layout was added on the 22nd of June, 2007. Rosanna made it using Adobe Photoshop 7.0.

1, 2, 3, it’s Olivia!!!

Infomation:
This is the second skin that we had on here starring myself (Olivia). Rosanna took the pictures of me on a hot summers day (one of the few days we’ve had) and we thought they were good so decided it would be a nice personal touch to have them up on LTY - I’m quite pleased with how it turned out, it was nice and fresh, easy on the eyes. Olivia made it using Adobe Photoshop CS2. It was taken down on the 13th of August, 2007.

Funky Simplicity

Infomation:
This layout was very different from my others and more recent ones, it’s imageless and based on colours only… I (Olivia) haven’t tried anything like this before… I’ve always gone for more of an image layout, more personal but I love this, it’s very different and allowed me to try new things. I’m really happy with how it turned out. Hope you like it too!
Olivia made it using Adobe Photoshop CS2. It was taken down on the 29th of September, 2007.

Round circles

Infomation:
I (Rosanna) adore this layout, I think it’s one of the best layouts I’ve ever made. The colours are so pretty & light, I originally was just messing around in Photoshop CS3, making a theme for a message board, but I ended up liking it so much that I made it into a layout for LTY. I love the CSS too. Enjoy & I hope you love it as much as I do!
Rosanna made it using Adobe Photoshop CS3.Olivia coded it. And it was taken down on the 10th of October, 2007.

Lily Art Pink

Infomation:
I absolutely adore this layout - I (Rosanna) bought the vector from istockphoto.com, I tweaked it a lot & I made the flower black & white (Olivia helped me with this, so credit goes to her too). I think the black & white flower gives it a really nice touch, it stops it from looking too pink. The CSS was done by Olivia, she did a fantastic job on it. And it was made in Photoshop CS3 by myself, with help from Olivia.
I made/edited it using Photoshop CS3 - this layout design was taken down on 1st of November, 2007.

Lily Art Green

Infomation:
I love this layout. It’s very similar to the pink one I made, I made this one about 10 minutes after I’d finished making the pink one.
I bought the vector from istockphoto.com, I tweaked it a lot & I made the flower black & white (Olivia helped me with this, so credit goes to her too). I love the coding too, I think how there’s a green background on the right & a dark grey background on the left looks funky. It makes it much more interesting. I hope you like it Rosanna made it using Adobe Photoshop CS3.Olivia coded it. And it was taken down on the 1st of November, 2007.
