Text Brushes; Ruling the World
June 13, 2008
I’ve just finished making new textures - while making them I needed some text brushes, so I made a few - just basic ones really. I thought I would add them… but now, I’d love to know what you’re currently using… it can be anything… abstract, grunge, objects.
You can find the new text brushes over here at Text Brushes (page 2) >>>
Hope you like them - let me know what you’d like to see next, I’ll do my best to supply whatever you want!
Lots of love xo

Celebrities vs. Stock
June 12, 2008
We never use celebrities for any of our Graphics, but many do - we can’t personally offer celebrity images to use in graphic design; however we do have a lot of stock photographs.
We have roughly 50GB (basically… quite a few thousand) of stock photographs. What we want to know is;
- Do you use stock?
- Would you like access to our stock?
- What do you prefer using? Celebrity images vs. stock images.
Just a random photograph (aka stock photographs) which I had on my desktop - either Rosanna took this or I did…. but we have many things alike and much more.
Almost all of our wallpaper images have all been taken by one of us - the recently added ones were taken by myself and Rosanna… and there is tons more around.

If you’re at all interested, answer the few simple questions - if we get good feedback, it’ll be another addition!
Icon Quotes; yes, no, maybe!
June 12, 2008
Being one of those Twilight fans, I can’t help but adore quote icons - I love using them, especially a bunch of them in a rotation script…
Lately I spent a lot of time browsing, looking for Twilight icon quotes - I found a few good ones. But it led me to wonder whether I should spend more time on icon quotes. Maybe Twilight ones, maybe random ones, maybe Harry Potter… anything that gets requested… and so on.
What am I getting at? Well, I want to know whether you like icon quotes, and whether you would like some (more) on LTY Designs
If you’re not sure what I mean, this is an icon I just made as a preview - although it is 10 pixels too big as I’m also using this as an image on the front page.
Let me know what you think!
Lots of love xo

LJ Layouts: What’s your style?
June 12, 2008
I have not recently added LJ Layouts due to the fact that I don’t really know what everyone is looking for; what colours are wanted, designs, whether they should be simple or complicated… it’s all a mass of questions.
I personally love the simple type LiveJournal Layouts for my own LJ - I hate anything too graphic like as I like to think of it as a journal. But that is of course, just me.
My favourite ones are the simple LJ layouts with a bit of a fun background, snazzy colour etc.
Much like the bottom layout on this free livejournal layouts page >>>
So, you can see what I like - but now I want to know what you like so I can get started on new ones.
Drop a line in the comment box below and I’ll be sure to have your comment(s) in mind when I make the next one - hopefully in a couple of days.

“You’re intoxicated by my very presence”
June 12, 2008
…sigh, I do love the Twilight saga *swoons*
I have new icons, icon quotes really… I added ten new ones; over at 100×100 icons.
If you’re not a Twilight fan, you’ll probably be growling at me right now… but I love making quote icons, so give me a few quotes you love and I’ll do those instead of Twilight ones

Brand New and Beautiful
June 3, 2008
We’re back!
Not that we ever really left, we’ve been here slaving away, working hard on this new restructure of LTY Designs and the very simple layout…
Rosanna made the lovely logo; logos and I just do not like each other… everything I try I hate, so Rosanna did it and I think it’s ten times better than anything I have ever attempted to make. But shh, don’t tell her - she’ll get a big ego!
We haven’t been adding any new content until now as we were literally ripping the pages apart and putting them all together on a secret website so we could get everything done and not disturb the main website.
Sorry things have been so quiet lately. Nonetheless, we’re back and will be working hard (more visibly) on LTY Designs. Along with LT Tutorials and our new projects.

Photography: Passion #unknown
June 3, 2008
Lately, I haven’t had a decent creative streak… the fact that I haven’t been able to really make anything graphic wise; tutorials, graphics, resources etc hasn’t helped. But I’ve been forcing myself to throw myself into this new web design and structure. I hate how it’s taken so long, I just want to finish it… every time I went onto LTY Designs I kept wanting to close the window, I’m a perfectionist.
I’m sure you know what I mean when I say, you can’t always be online, on the computer. I sure can’t anyway. Because I wasn’t being creative online, I ended up spending more time taking photographs.
My father has a few Canon bodies and also lenses - his passion is photography; I’m lucky enough to be able to use whatever I like, so long as he doesn’t need it for work and I look after them (obviously).
Rosanna and Sasha have since been on hand to be my temporary models - we’ve been taking a lot of photographs, all sorts of styles and poses, nothing too dramatic but a lot of fun for me; improving my photography and also trying new things myself and my models.
I added them to Deviant Art but I also added them to my Flickr - the Flickr account also works with the homepage, anything new I add will be added there - exciting.
I spent most of my time behind the camera, but the odd time Sasha (the youngest of us three) decided she wanted to take some photographs of me. I surrendered the beloved camera to her and she took several good shots. You can find them on dA and Flickr. My favourite is this one below:-

May Tutorials; a colourful collection
June 3, 2008
It’s been an odd time recently, working on LTY Designs but also trying to write new tutorials for LTY Tutorials - not forgetting our new project which is still in the secret progress and also daily life.
It’s been simply… mad!
Needless to say, we haven’t updated or written new tutorials for LTY Tutorials since roughly the 27th of May - however I found a stash of tutorials I have half written and never published, so I intend to complete and add them later this week, the aim is to have them done before the weekend!
But in the meantime, take a look at our slightly older-May tutorials; there are some great colour effect tutorials which I urged Rosanna to write as she is constantly using them on bits and pieces. Then a forgotten retouching tutorial - great for photographs which need a bit of touching up… and even a tutorial (by myself) on using the Photoshop Clone Tool to remove unwanted objects and things on an image.
If you have any requests, go for it! I’ll add it to the top of my list and prod Rosanna too.
